As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
So panteth my soul after thee, O God
My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God
When shall I come and appear before God?
My tears have been my meat day and night

3. GOD THE GLORY OF HIS PEOPLE

The sun shall be no more thy light by day
Neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee
But the LORD shall be thine everlasting light
And thy God thy glory
Thy sun shall no more go down
Neither shall thy moon withdraw itself
For the LORD shall be thine everlasting light
And thy days of mourning shall be ended
Thy people also shall be righteous
They shall inherit the land forever
The branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified
A little one shall become a thousand
And a small one a strong nation
I the LORD will hasten it in his time


4. MY GOD

Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation
O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man
For thou art the God of my strength
Why dost thou cast me off?

O send out thy light and thy truth, let them lead me
Let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles

5. FINAL TRIUMPH

The fool hath said in his heart, "There is no God"
They are corrupt, they have done abominable works
There is none that doeth good
The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men
To see if there were any that did understand and seek God
They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy
There is none that doeth good, no, not one
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge?

And call not upon the LORD
There were they in great fear
For God is in the generation of the righteous
You have shamed the council of the poor
Because the LORD in his refuge

When the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people

7. MIECZ NAD LEVIATANEM

In that day the LORD with his severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan, the fleeing serpent

Therefore by this, the iniquity of Jacob will be covered
And this is all the fruit of taking away his sin
When he makes all the stones of the altar
Like chalkstones that are beaten to dust, wooden images and incense altars shall not stand


8. NIEWOLNIK CIEMNOŚCI

Jego krew krzyczy do Boga, o wyzwolenie z grzechu i rak wroga.
On dał nam miecz by ostać się, dał nam tarczę by w wierze stać.
Prawdziwy wojownik On walczy za nas. On dał nam miecz!
