Until Nightfall

The elders spoke many tales of them before
Surrounding fires tales we've been told that
Ghastly things that desecrates and haunts
Comes at night, shrouded in the mist

THE SETTING SUN
The settings sun cause great concern
And as the mist merge with the coming night
Lingering fiends beyond the tree line

Lock the door and seal the windows

Furious snarls echoes in the dark
shrills multiply between the oaks
desperate cattle fight the restraints

AVOID THE LIGHT
Avoid the light and be completely still
Clasping hands through out the night
Keep your loved ones close

Scratch on the doors
Hinges break loose
Chilling breeze and the door flies open
In darkness a foul hand grabs a mother
And pulls her into oblivion

One by one is dragged away
Across the yard and into the woods
Screams of horror agony and fear
All fades into unheard stillness

Left alone is one child only
Left in ruins left in tears
Left to live, left to serve, left alive
