Your life will then be required of you

Enmity
(Lawlessness will abound)
Vitriol
(Their love will wax over cold)
Hypocrites
(Wolves will rule over these goats)
In pride
(All crimes are rationalized)

Intolerable becomes consumable
Microdosing us the atrocious
What anguish can be caused us
When the mass grave is unknown?
The bile seeps out of the heart
The inner man entrenched in poison
Our iniquity piers up to the sky
We are led by the neck into punishment

Do you not know
Friendship with
The world is
Enmity with God?

Flagrant words have armed the killers
Cunning fools lead men to their deaths

Peace for the mongrel is unending war
Love for the heartless is a ceaseless rage
Our lives are wretchedness entwined
Your life will then be required of you

Was it worth it?
(The intolerable)
The winding march
(Becomes consumable)
Look on the dead

And in their silence
(Into punishment)
They have no more

Part in this life
