1. ILLUSION OF LIGHT

Walking my way towards the light
Step by step I’ll reach my aim, it’s in sight
My path of hope may be long but the end is near
A better future, a new world will await me here

But a strange feeling burns in me, my chest is about to explode
There are dark evil creatures trying to block my shiny road
I see my path getting narrower, I try to carry on
Increase my speed, hurry up, flee from the shadows to the sun
The darkness crawls from all sides, tries to reach me, I can’t hide
And the creatures are getting closer and they’re craving for the light
I’m running, wanting to reach the land of luck and holy light
But the shadow-hounds surround me and the darkness wins the fight

So I close my eyes
Let some will to live arise
Push the agony aside
And keep running to the light

But the stones on my path grow stronger
And the road appears longer and longer
Every step my legs feel heavier again
And the darkness comes streaming in

And the cold shadows creep into my skin
The black curtain falls, encases me in
Another soul, another shadow-hound’s prey
As the illusion of the light fades away
And the trigger was me
