1. SUICIDE

A desperate cry for help a note left upon a shelf
A life lies in pieces! The contract of life he breaches
A man left all alone no friends to call his own .
One last pill ,will see him home and the next step is the unknown.

Unintended suicide empty bottle by his side
Marked dangerous, marked suicide as nobody cried.
Well you tried to change the day hero you thought they say
Know your dreams have turned to clay

And no one was made to pay.
You feel the darkness begin to cloud inside your head.
You try to move but your nerves are dead.
Suicide by side you really must not take your life
Its really not that bad and no one will feel that sad.
And don't you realize that nothing is solved by your demize.
Hear today, gone tommorow so they'd say gone tommorow hear today.

A life time's much too short,a new one it can't be bought!
So ride the glory ride the tears ride the anguish and the fear,
Coz nothing's really always what it seams! what it seams
Nothings always what it seems!
What it seems nothings always what it seems.

2. TEN YEARS FROM NOW

Out of work you got no money not a thing, your just a name
A number yeah you your just a face in the que that's true now tell me something!
Ten years from now what will you be?
Will you be broken will you be made will you be answered will you be saved.
Will you be runnin with the pack or is it just that life's a drag!
Ten years from now. What can you see?
Can you see riches larger than life?
Can you see marriage, daughter, and wife?
Can you see hunger torment and pain
Or is it simply goi'n down the drain!
Ten years from now' what will it be?

Add lib!
Middle eight.

Out of work you got no money not a thing your just a name & a number
Yeah, you ‘re just a face in que that's true now
Tell me something ten years from now.
What can you see?
Bridge.
You got the answers never the facts.
Run'n from something cover'n your tracks.
Liv'n your life as some kind of lie.
Fool'n no one passing by.
Ten years from now, what can you see?

3. DARK DECEMBER

No one dares to break the silence that's surrounding you
No one dares to ask the questions, that youv'e the answers to.
Curiosity and fear mingled on a falling tear
No one dares to touch the sadness they feel behind the smile
No one dares to break the ice
They feel there isn't time, time to tell you how they feel
Time to tell you it's unreal!
Bite your lip and hold your tear, you can't cry,not hear.
Take your chance and run a mile or stand and face the trial.
No exceptions to the rule yes it's life and yes it's cruel.
Sorrow lurks in seedy alleys behind the garden wall.
Stalks the innocent the mighty,it preys upon us all!

[Chorus]
Deep and dark December went and took away.
A life a close companion.
Some how you feel betrayed.
When all your yesterdays go sailing bye.
No one ever told you that some day they would die.

Now and then you hear them calling, calling from afar.
Your days are filled with distant memories
That leave a potent scar!
Memories of youth and pride of when time was on your side.
You cant help but think you've left things, things you should have said.
Things that come and go and swim around inside your head

[Chorus]

[Chorus]

You feel it's just beginning the slide upon the slope.
You find it hard to think & wonder how your goin to Cope.
Only you who holds the key only you can set it free.
Come on now pick up the pieces your life is still in tact.
It's you the proof behind the answer it's you the living fact.
Fact it is and fact it staysNow it's time your on your way
On your way to something bigger than pondering the past.
You can't help but move much quicker and do something that lasts!

[Chorus]

4. SURBURBAN CRISIS

She had to be the perfect lover & warm the slippers for his feet.
She had to be the perfect mother & keep the house real neat.
The image cracked in the closing night
Under the gathering strain
Her eyes reflected a cold red light,
He was in danger! danger! danger!

[Chorus]
Cold city, cold night surburban crisis looms in the twilight!
Cold city, cold night, urban riot under the neon.

Mean while in a down town ghetto
The crowd gathers in the streets
To the sound of a breaking window
The crowd takes to it's feet!
Narrow walls consumed in flames tumble to the ground
A thin blue line can't contain this bed of anger!
Anger! Anger!

[Chorus] (x2)

As the ghetto smoulders in the distance
The surburb starts to burn
Inspite of organized resistance
The crowd grows at every turn.
She stands mute with her hands
Held high his body lies down at her feet.
One small spark and it starts a fire
And Shouts Of Anger!
Anger! Danger! Danger!

[chorus]

5. FAITHLESS ONE

They say you've got a friend in Jesus,
Let me tell you I'm not a believer.
Don't believe in heaven or hell, damnation incarnation.
Won't be indoctranated to something unrelated.

[Chorus]
No you can't fool me with your false prophecy.
Your church your clergy your vestigal right to burn me.
Believe me believe me when I tell you,
I don't want I don't want to sell you.
My minds made up I know what I am.
I can regain my mind I know that I can.

I beg your pardon vicar I didn't mean to sound bitter
Didn't mean to patronize you or in the least despise you.
Please don't pray for me;
What isn't there I can't see.

[Chorus]

Don't believe in fire and brimstone
If you please write it on my headston:
Hear lies a man of reason
Not disposed too religouse bereavement.
Please don't pray for me
What isn't there I can't
See!

[Chorus]

When the day of judgement comes
They say I'll be burned,
No place for disbeleivers
Only for divine receivers.
They say I must be insane
Taking Gods name in vain.

[Chorus]

Faith,faith,faithless one!
Faith ,faith, faithless one
Ohh the vicar said I was a bad boy.
Faithless one.

6. REBEL EYE

Remember when we were young,
Adolescent ,highly strung, devastated by the mere'st flick of the tongue.
Hurt and satisfied on the outside maybe wild.
On the inside running around in circles up the isles.
When growing up was just confused with something to be amused
Issues slaved and issues used,
Love rejected, love abused.

[Chorus]
Annmarie do you still,
Still remember me,
Carry photographs and remenice about the past,
Annmarie do you still keep a diary.
Entry blood with tears a dim reminder through the years!

I remember much too well,
I remember kiss and never tell.
I remember secret rendez-vous
I remember I had too much to loose,
Much too much to loose.
I was young and you were old
I was proud and I could never fall.
Nobody told me I could bruise,
nobody told me I could never win
I could never loose
I could always choose!
Tempers runn'n much too high,
How could I forget the rebel eye.
Memories fading in the haze
Except the ones I chose;
And they remaine, yes and they remaine
Nobody told me I was wrong,
nobody told me I was much too strong
I was much too weak always had too seek.

[Chorus]

7. DO OR DIE

The scene a rain soaked alley.
Sweet sweat and night rivaly.
The graffiti it taunts you and the night air haunts you.
Deep in the metropolis lifes a hit and miss.
A distant horn blows hard it peaks and then retards.

[Chorus]
Hit and run it's only just begun.
Do or die it's time to fly.
Fight or flight with all your might.
Do or die it's time to fly.

The city never sleeps,
In it's wake the eye it meets.
Senses are paramount
The days too long to count the future
You sold no pavements made from gold,
The dirt it bites
Your collar turn around
Don't loose tomorrow.

[Chorus]

[Chorus]

Just one in a million, of the lonely hearts battalion loneliness
Breeds apathy, a friendly face you long to see,
Too many painted faces
Empty minds on empty spaces.
The time is very near,
Move now the coast is clear.

[Chorus]

8. EIGHT BELOW

Eight below and i'ts starting to snow,
I'm trying my best
But just can't seem to rest.
Always out on my own,
No place to call my own.
Lost and never found,
Face firm in the ground.
Always segregated, chastized, manipulated,
Stabbed in the back and taken for a ride.
I must be blind
It's every time,
They do the crime
And I do the time
But not anymore
No one showing me the door.
You better get out of my way
Because baby that's the score.
Goin' to rip em apart
Where shall I start,
A thousand places,
A million miles and a million faces.
Middle eight:
All my life,I wanted to be someone,
To do something unknown to none.
To have some one to care.
And maybe share my stare,to stay
And never let me stray.
