The echoes of your cries

3. THE DYING PLANET

(We used to stare up in the nightsky
As we lay on our backs in the grass
The darkness of a new world coming over us
and disfiguring the notions that we once had)
Now we walk for years barefeeted on ice
As we carry the dead, our loved ones in our arms
Some staring into the sun
Intentionally making themselves blind

Everytime I breathe, it feels like
Inhaling fire
We've left our desires behind,
In time for change
But autumn has lost it's color
And everything we knew is gone

Have you ever thought closely about the stars
That constantly has an eye on us
They decide to share their light
Even though there's nothing left to lit up
On this world
