Perched upon the riverbed
Tears upon her lash

Clings to her tongue, amidst salt and ash

She reaches towards her shoulder
Fleeting moments pass
Though time wavers
This feeling holds her within its grasp

Taking its toll on her reason
Leading the blind to see
