Lies! Surrounded!

Debris of our dust has fed the soil
with the hope of a newborn being; illuminated.
This is the catharsis of a new way
To feel the irony of watching this realm collide

Lightning, tainted red, through your veins
The future is the wishes that we lost, by the time to come.

2. COMMON GROUND

This is my soul
This is turmoil
I still can't find

The inner space

3. INTO THE DEPTHS

Consciousness around me
An ocean to die in and sink within
A tar pit to pull me under
Suffocate on my own breath

Fight it, I'm still breathing
Smoke fills my lungs pushing me further down
Embrace it, let the water in
Red eyes are glaring it's taking me now

Let go and feel the clouds below you
Sink to the bottom to find the air

Now that you've become one with the water you can never resurface again
Convulsing, my body's becoming something that is not from this world
Realign the pieces so they can fit together in a different way
Bone flows through blood and water converging, swirling in chaos
All the pieces are there they just feel like they belong to another
State of matter or ionic charge, just don't fit anymore
Don't let it flow away, or you'll be changed forever; a liquid spirit
Find all the particles, bring them with you,
Now swim!

Get to the volcano where solids are made again
Find the wise turtle to guide you and reclaim your body

Swim into the abyss
Of the deep realms we have not found
Find it beyond the horizon
The colors are changing there's no time left

Felt drowned in myself

I am Nereus I move what I want and I claim what I wish
This realm is mine now drown everything to become it
I am the ocean around myself trapped within


4. TAKE FLIGHT

Surface from the great sea into the forest of shadows
Cutting through the woods
A specter seeking refuge in utter chaos dripping
Flowing into the soil
This is not my domain I must seek the words of the wise turtle
To reach the answers

There it rises above, the monolith of wisdom
Sprouts from her toes, the mushroom is a key

It wasn't supposed to feel this way
Sickened by enlightenment

Where do we go from here?
Now that we have no fear

Now that I can feel
The weight of life lifted from me
Nine eyes opened wide
No more need to hide

Into the realm of air
Feel my breath declare
