1. AWAITING THE DAWN

Bleak visions behind my eyes
Fear, breeding inside you
When it darkens, it starts again
Counting down until you fade

Night falls and voices swell
Time wasted in a cell
Light will stab your rotting flesh
There's no time to rest

Sleepless state defining your life
Pacing weak, before you're allowed to die

Walking the lanes of filthy streets
Shadows are mocking this pitiful pace
in cold and distant gaze
Wincing hard your downcast face

Unwitting move into the hell
Lair of noise and neon signs
Run, they came to hunt again
Asked to choose, I'd rather die

Sleepless state defining your life
Pacing weak, before you're allowed to die
Hope you suffer very last throes
Staring still, awaiting the dawn

Time has come for me to break the chains
Spilling blood out of these wretched veins
The only chance to retrieve control
Nevermore will they watch me fall


2. DESERT TORTURE

Drowned in the sands, lost in the hostile lands
Mislead by the stars and sun, mirages all around

I summon thee, sheltered among winds
Take this black bird and deign appear
Give me unspoken might and accept my sacrifice

Snatch daggers out of my throat
Show them they are wrong
Burn their profane chains
Afflict an infernal bane

Why does he disregard my pain?
Flogged, I'm condemned to maim

Decline's coming near, sudden fear's growing
Revealed the face of death, I feel its breath
I moan, I die alone


3. AT A STANDSTILL

Coldness of my skin is dismaying me
I can feel their presence, although I can't see
Can't open my eyes
Droning deep inside

Swish of surgeon's knife resounds from high
What my ears hear, my mind denies
Riving old scars
It's gone too far

Fugitive from the sprights
Assaulting the gates of my mind
Dreadful and slack as a rag
Deceived to get a relief

Bringing back to mind the times of old
And your hands avid for ardent soul

But nothing has changed, range
of betterment failed to reveal
Rot with no chance to redeem
Waiting for the desired end

Why cannot I
Ease the burden ingrained within
But strive in vain
Stuck forever at a standstill

Returning hollow and stiff
As drugs circulate in my veins
Shown pain that never leaves
