1. ETERNAL HYMN OF DECAY

All hail now the descending light
With cold the cosmos gives alarm
All hail now the fall into decay
The pretend deteriorates at last

In fire falls the light off the stars
And pours insight on the wasteland
A murmur blows the ancient mist
That crawling brings lunacy

Deeper than the dying day
Weighs the silence on the branches
In a trance you observe the stars
Falling off the heavens in lament

Omnipresent is the death of existence
Only decay lasts in eternity
It smells of ancient ailment
The fear feasts on end’s terror

The loss of sense’s direction
Means the discovery of gnosis
Into nothingness life descends
And finally I crawl up from my grave

The walls of reality shiver
As I rise up from the soil
I lead the hordes of ashes
Terror and decline

A thorn broke off the rod
Shifts screaming to the pond
Awkwardly the waves refract
In the darkness of the moor
