1. LES OCEANIDES

(Instrumental)

2. LAMENTATION OF THE LOST SOUL

”I’ve seen the Sun within the Moon
But the image it is gone, always….
Until (the hour of the great) noontide
And thoughts of beautiful Aurora
They’re lost in the grim new night

I’ve roamed through mystic places
But I've found only blank faces....
Seen the light and then hidden away
Beyond, my wisdom of nothing

Why can't I see?
Why can't I feel?

Time is moving like a tide
I’m still longing for a sight

(I’ve discovered the key….
It’s been in my hands all along,
But I don’t know how to use it
And if no dreams of tomorrow
Will speak the words of truth….)

All the knowledge of centuries et cetera
For useless minds, the anguish of our past
Carrying them all away, and still it lasts
Because of these cold tears I will freeze
And my destination, the hearse….”

”O blessed hour of the lightning! O mystery before the noontide!”
-Friedrich Nietzsche / Thus Spake Zarathustra Book III, Chapter XLIX
(Translated by Thomas Common)

3. SCENT OF VENUS

”Quaere tibi in terris Venerem, quae non tibi vultus
Auferret optatos, visere quando venis.”
-Magnus Beronius-

4. THE HOURGLASS INFERNAL

”As I lay myself down to rest,
While this voyage(r) speaks to us
Of endless routes, endless routes
In the most surreal(istic) way….
Seems I’m wasting my life force
Into this neverending day

And their call from the horizon
Falling down to abyssal nothingness
As I watch Paradise crumbling down
Eternity comes to embrace, comes
To embrace us through the gates

But now I can’t hear anything
I can’t hear anything at all…
Gathering all of us, to the circle
They crawl through (holes in) time
And now, our beauty is beyond….

Shadows dissolve, on the horizon
Trying to catch (the gods of) time
But time itself has stopped already
The hourglass trapped in a loop”

”He led her, nothing loth; flowers were the couch,
Pansies, and violets, and asphodel,
And hyacinth – Earth’s freshest, softest lap.”
-John Milton / Paradise Lost Book IX

5. DELUSIONS AD ASTRA

”Transcendental mist flowing past my eyes
Lost frequencies, in a phantasmal sphere…
My earthly structure, slowly, losing itself
And my agonized voice being swallowed
By this unnatural, unnatural world….

Word is spoken, sound collapsing
My subtle body is turning, backwards
Now I’ve lost the plane of existence
And the mind is turning all ignorant

The density of my body, Absolute (delusion)
The material world is becoming unknown
And I see myself interlocked in a sphere
Of mysterious voices, making me....

And existence in all of its forms,
It is slowly turning into nothingness”

”I was already where I could hear the roar
Of the water falling into the next circle,
Like the hum which bees make around a hive;
When three shadows together broke away”
-Dante Alighieri / Divina Commedia Canto XVI, Inferno
(Translated by Charles Sisson)

6. STYGIAN DREAMING

”Imprisoned in a world of dreams
Buried to the sands of time
Flowers of evil on my grave
Under the crimson twilight skies

Lost in the labyrinth of oblivion
I see silvery gates before me
Yet the key it is lost forever
A brief moment feels like eternity

With wisdom from the archaic world
Watching and waiting for the new dawn
The ship of Charon awaits me….
For my last voyage beyond the horizon

Floating in the river of death
Acheron winds howling behind me
To the valley of Hades I descend
For the end, my final journey”

7. SLEEP OF ETERNITY

”And plight will change my perspective
In a putrid awakening, oh morning clouds...
All my thoughts are turning into dreams
Like the dream of Faust (a landscape)
In a nightmare descending to reality

I can’t awake from this dream
Divine beauty takes me away
They carry me to the funeral
Of love, lost in a sleep, a sleep
Sleep of eternity, into eternity

Pleasant is this journey, where I am….
Still, I can’t dream myself to reality
And, slowly, I follow the (l)anguish itself
To the graves of tomorrow…..”

”Deep the falling of the night,
Star holds sacred rank with star,
Lordly beams and twinklings bright
Glitter near and shine afar”
-Johann Wolfgang von Goethe / Faust II Act One
(Translated by Philip Wayne)

8. WHERE FREEZING SPIRITS FALL

”When all the light has fallen down
And our inner spirit has lost its crown
Nothing is as it seems when death comes,
When death comes embracing, undoing
Traces from the past, forgotten

In emptiness, gathering feathers to the dark
Mourners face their true fears, of lies within lies
We have to face ourselves at the wall of death
Feeding endless obsessions, (before) taking
(Before) taking the last breath…..

Gone are the dreams of naked light,
Giving myself to the endless night
So absurd are these ways, into being
One with myself, catching tears
From the black(ened) sky

It feels like Time is taking the reins
Yet, unable to catch the Final Days
Freezing spirits (within and) without
A real course, floating through the past,
Falling through the past, false…..”

”You spoke as though you did not recognize shadows, or evil.
Kindly think on this: where would all your good be if evil did not exist?
What would the earth look like without shadows?”
-Mikhail Bulgakov / The Master and Margarita Chaper XXIX
(Translated by Michael Karpelson)
