They fed us lies
They never believed themselves
The masses cling to myths ingrained so deep

Deceptions
Perceived as certain truths
Our sewn-shut eyes have been torn open…
We will rise!

No longer blind, we can’t be led
Your guiding light will be stained red
Devour the hand by which we’ve all been fed
This is our crucial moment

On hallowed ground
We plant our flag
But deep below the roots of hate have spread

Insatiable
On fear they feast
Feeding the wicked branches we must sever

No longer burdened by a fear of retribution
They can’t defeat that which they’ve raised
Emotionless, we find our strength in numbness
We will avenge those without voice!

And though we do not revel in the deeds we must commit
In time our absolution will remove the stains of guilt

Archaic convictions
Have spread like a plague
Too indoctrinated
To seek a cure

With passion and pain we struggle forth
Against that which seeks to hold us down
A modest gain is still a victory
We are the future, and the fight will carry on
