The rot begins to spread
On the winds of ragged breath
Survival now inspired from deep within

Sunsets flee overhead
'Til they fall through open necks
Feeding fears that bleed through fragile skin

The hunger seeps from underneath a veil that's wearing thin
Baring its teeth, prepared to feast on the souls of our kin

An inspiration yet unknown to us all
Until our wills became as one
The cycle we preserve in man's rise and fall
A gift to all that would see us undone
