Searching for that benevolence.
His mind beckons my sight.
These hands can feel the lethargy,
Understanding never finds sleep,
This sorrow envelops

Woeful screams
Breaks the silence
His laughter’s bliss
Lead me to you.

Dismal history
Bites through the skin.
Constant grief,
Numb the pain.
Seek the truth
In this immense journey.
Inner bewilderment never strays.

My lament tries to hide me;
Devotion triumphs,
Pulls me in its frightening grip,
For you just stand there
