Endless is the time of grief and desolation
I'm doomed alone these mists to dwell
Until the end of time

Restless mind

But I'll find the stone

From Andaegil I come
Seeking the ruins of ancient Aegonia
Seeking for the truth
Of what came to pass so long ago

In my unrestful sleep
And tell me the true story
Of the lands of Aegonia


6. BATTLES LOST AND WON

From the cold mountain I come
My legions will flood the land
Every herb and every stone
Will be smashed under my feet
Skies will burn
Lands will be disgraced
And all enemies of mine
In soil's cold embrace will lay

The last moment of silence...
How fragile is the harmony of being
The wind blows in my hair
And whispers me of war, of war

The war is closing in
And I can not do anything to stop it
But if this is my fate
And if I have to fight, I'll fight

I ain't gonna leave here
Until this land is won for me

All those battles, lost and won
Bring deep grief into my heart
So many lives are lost

8. THE STOLEN SONG

I walk through the forest in the glooming light
No birdsongs, no wind... Feels so strange...
The old trees stare at me and I hear them whisper:
"Don't go there, turn back!"
But no, I must go to the lake!
And I must hurry!

I close my eyes to hold these tears
My world is falling, and it hurts so much
In this dark night, so cold and damp
My song is lost to me

I close my eyes, everything fades
My world is dying, my strength is gone
Oh, am I dreaming, oh, is this true?
I'm so empty inside

My song is not here anymore...

9. GONE

And thus the queen was caught in the mists
Alone to haunt there she was doomed

Ravel with the mountain winds

A small and precious drop of water
Frozen in an icy cave
Folded in a veil of frost and chill

Close your eyes, you'll find your way
In this harsh mountain
Raging winds of cold and power

Stolen in a distant dream

A snowflake flower of tremendous beauty
Frozen in an icy cave
Keeping what for me's most dear
In a cage of mist

And I'm no longer needed here

In these wretched lands I rove
Wishing death would come for me
Telling stories of a love
That was lost so long ago

The skies turned black since she left me here

12. THE RUINS OF AEGONIA

And thus the whole story ends
The ruins of Aegonia will lie forsaken for all times
The wind will whisper in the autumn leaves and tell this story
But there will be none to listen
None to listen
