Aaron Chaparian : Myopic Mind

Teksty
1. MYOPIC MIND
A gust of wind ignites the flow,
Back and forth, the branches go.
Every forest looks the same,
To the man without a brain. (x2)
Can he not see the different sap?
It might be tough due to overlap,
But look closer, look harder,
The contrast is seen at every marker.
Will he ever change his ways?
Adjustment requires a long gaze
Into the distinctive timber,
It might take a splinter
To wake him from deep repose.
What a shame for the trees,
All the birds and the bees
That go unnoticed from myopic vision.
All the wood and lumber
That can’t been seen down under,
His mind is trapped forever.
One day he might rise,
And see with different eyes,
To discover an unparalleled world.
Myopic mind. (Mind)
