1. A STATE OF CHAOS

It lies still right in front of me,
No movement I can see,
A peaceful state of serenity.
Beneath the trees, appearing calm,
Undisturbed by the natural night,
Reflecting moonlight,
It glistens so bright.

But I look up,
Only to find the dark surrounding me.
I foresee the calmness can no longer be.
What once strived in peace,
Will now bask in war,
So unleash the thunder roar.

The calmness strives no longer,
A state of chaos will take over.

Down falls the liquid,
Saturating everything in its path,
Destroying moments of tranquility.
It falls down, down, down,
Seamless waves of disarray,
Destroying moments of tranquility.

Restless now, violent motion.
Rapid tide, deep corrosion.
The beast is now alive,
Peaceful days will not survive. (x2)

It has been disturbed, yet given life,
A great change despite the strife.
Animated with strong intent,
Powerful waves will now descend.
