Boil enters into international record deal/management deal/booking deal and announces album release date and new music video.
Boil is without question one of the best and most talented Danish prog metal bands at the moment. The band has spent the last year in the trenches making an ambitious concept album ”aXiom” based on extensive interviews that Boil - with assistance from various Danish psychiatric organizations - has conducted with a number of mentally ill people, especially paranoid schizophrenic people suffering from delusions.
To ensure sublime sound production ”aXiom” has been mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Soilwork). On the visual side the American artist Travis Smith (Katatonia, Avenged Sevenfold, Opeth) has made the cover and other album artwork based on Boil’s 50 page story script.
Boil has just signed a record deal with the Swedish record label ViciSolum Productions www.vicisolum.com/main.html which will release “aXiom” world wide for physical and online purchase on February 15th 2013. Furthermore Boil has entered into a management deal and world wide booking deal with Intromental (Leprous etc.) www.intromental.com that is specialized in promoting prog metal in both Europe and USA. With all these new contracts Boil is gearing up for a massive and ambitious Spring in 2013 with album release and touring.
