Wreckhead began in 2005. They wear their thrash and groove metal roots on their sleeves, presenting an uncompromising retaliaion to the stagnant "style over substance" condition of the British metal scene. They are a band with a rough history. George survived a life threatening bout of Bone Cancer with a year of Chemotherapy and massive surgery. Rob Narrowly escaped from a car crash with a broken pelvis and collar bone, and Dave has battled Drug and Mental Health problems consistantly since the bands conception. They emerge from these massive setbacks a stronger, fiercer, more determined band then ever. You can't stop progress.
