Founded In Early 1992 By Guitarist Gerd "Sammy" Simson And Bassist Frank "Kanone" Brüning Wolfs Moon Started As Five-Piece Heavy-Rock Band With Keyboards.

After The 2 Demo-Tapes "A Dream Beyond A Dream" And "Awake In Visions" In 1992 And 1994 And Several Live-Gigs Lead-Singer Carsten "Maxe" Pasemann Left The Band For Personal Reasons.


With Keyboarder Christian Görke On Vocals Wolfs Moon Recorded The Debut Album "Solitary Lunacy" In 1996 . Early After The Release Bassist Kanone Left The Band For Personal Reasons Followed By Christian Because Of Problems With The Musical Direction.

1997 Can Be Described As The Rebirth-Year Of The Band.


Stronger Than Ever The Band Returned With Maxe On Lead-Vocals Again And New-Blood Peter Dickert On Bass With The 100 Percent Classic Metal Album "Eternal Flame" In A Classic Four Piece - Vocals / Drums / Guitar / Bass - Manner. For The First Time The Band Received International Positive Reviews With That Album Which Was Re-Released Through Metal Bastard Records With A Different Cover-Artwork.


1999 Marks The Arrival Of The Duke Of Damnation With The First Concept-Story Of The Band -History : "Elysium Dreams" With The Underground-Hit "Alley Of The Gutter Kings". After Playing Live-Shows Like Headbangers Open-Air The Band Returned For The Third Time To The Whiteline-Studio In Braunschweig To Record The Next Concept-Album "Black-Knight-Legacy" .


The Album Was Released in 2001 By Aris-Ariola And Contains The Second Underground-Hit Of The Band "Necronomicon". This Song Spread The Message Of The Band On A Metal Merchant Sampler Like "Alley Of The Gutter Kings" Before.

The Reviews In Magazines Like Metal Hammer Italy Were Positive Since The "Elysium Dreams" Album So The Band Built Up A Small But Strong Followship Of Fans In Brazil, US Of A , Sweden , Spain And Other Countries.


After Leaving The Mark On Festivals Like Bands Battle The Band Prepared The New Songs For The Fifth Album "Keep Metal Alive".

This Longplayer - Distributed By MDD Records Since The End Of 2004 - With New Bassist Marco Dammann From The Iron Maiden-Coverband SheepShot Was The Last Recording In Whiteline Studio And Shows The Last Appearance Of The Duke In The Third Part Of The Elysium -Saga.
