Formed in the twilight of 1996, Winds Of Eve came to the scene strongly influenced by fertile swedish Death Metal scene. Formed by Marcos Cerutti (v/g) and Ricardo Trassato (d), the intuit of the band was unite the aggressive and the power of traditional Death Metal with the melody from the traditional Heavy Metal bands.

Some influencies of Black and Thrash Metal complete the amalgam of styles that give form to the Winds Of Eve. After some rehearsals and ready compositions, they need to complete the line-up. So, in January of 1997 they asked Alan Banis - now in Downcast to join as guitar player and after a hard search, Rafael Fonseca, joined as bass player, but he was a guitarist. With the line-up ready, the rehearsals proceed in a good rhythm and the first results begin to appear.

However, a series of drops affects the stability of the band. The first, happened in the middle of 1998 with the exit of Ricardo. By this, the number of rehearsals start to decrease, Alan start to be unsatisfied with the situation and leave the band. Rafael tookover Alans place. A new search for members to restructuring had started again. The first innovation it was Paulo Costa, joined in the end of 1999 and it has stabilized the line-up and in January of 2001 Fernando Vicentin join in Winds of Eve as bass player. So, with the line-up comlete, they started to work again.

Constant rehearsals and compositions in profusion has made the band enter in studio in May of 2001 to record their MCD " When the sun closes his eyes". In 2003 a record deal was fixed with Hate Storm Records, but in middle of the recording process, the label has broken. So, now the band is trying to back on track...
