Tides of Virtue are a metal band hailing from Essex & Kent that formed in June of 2008. We combine aggressive fast paced riffs, crushing breakdowns, intiricate solos and harmonised metal sections taking influence from the Gothenburg sound. Tides of Virtue is made up of five close friends and passionate muscians Louis Thurgood (Vocals), James Otero, Paul Lawford, (Guitars) Jake Mead (Bass) and Elliot Philpot (Drums).

Since playing our first show in September of 2008 we have played over 70 shows in the UK and Belgium, the highlight of this year being voted onto the reputed METALFEST 3 at the London Underworld, which was incredible! We have had the honor of sharing the stage with many incredible act's such as: Viatrophy, Sylosis, It Prevails (US), This Is Colour, Azriel, Annotations Of An Autopsy, The Argent Dawn, The Eyes Of A Traitor, Postmortem Promises, Ligeia (US), Evita, Shadow Law, Days Of Betrayal (BEL) and Random Conflict.

The two newest tracks uploaded onto the page are "The Miasmic Legacies" & "Emperors" which show our progressed and matured sound. Our first release, a 4 track self titled E.P and the recent 2 track sampler were recorded at Studio 6 with the legend that is Stu Mckay in September of 2008/March 2009. "Time & Tide" and "Fabric Of Destiny" are from this E.P and can be found in the player as well. We are currently playing every show we possibly can gigging as far out into around the UK as possible.
