Our TOP METAL MACHINE from Sweden TERROR 2000 is back with a new THRASH METAL attack! The band fronted by SOILWORK-singer Bjorn "Speed" Strid has completed work on their sophomore effort ‘Faster Disaster,' described by the band as ‘even harsher and faster than the successful debut ‘Slaughterhouse Supremacy' with almost 10.000 copies sold world-wide. The new album is also a little bit more raw and back to the roots of THRASH-METAL! Just listen the first 3 songs: ‘Back With Attack', ‘Formula Flame Feast' and ‘Headrush'… TERROR 2000 is an unstoppable force, the guitar riffing is sharp as a razor and Speed's vocal performance is incredible. No better title can be found to describe their new songs! There are several awesome guest appearances on the album as well. Christofer from DARKANE has two guest guitar solos. Peter Wichers (SOILWORK) and Mattias (The DEFACED) both have one guest solo each while Henke (The DEFACED) added some vocal stuff! This time is the band itself that took care of the production of the album, the guitarist Klas Ideberg (also with The DEFACED and DARKANE) worked as sound-engineer and followed personally everything from the drum-sound to the final mix. The actual line-up is also completed by the former guitar-machine Nick Sword (also with EL MAGO) and the new drummer Erik Thyselius (also with CONSTRUCTDEAD) who replaced Henry Rantha already involved with Soilwork and The Defaced. The album has been already released in Japan through SOUNDHOLIC as priority-release and the American release will be through NUCLEAR BLAST but there's no official release date yet.
