Spaceseed biography
Guitarist John Pack founded Atlanta/Georgia based SPACESEED in 1988. The group comprised several players and spent a number of years testing ideas in the studio as well as performing live. It was in 2003 when Hawkwind's Nik Turner joined. Now the band really attracted attention for the first time on the international scene. Pack and Turner produced the band's debut 'Future Cities Of The Past' in 2004 and they embarked on a 15 city tour along with Jim Lascko's Solar Fire Light Show.

2005 brought about the advent of a long time collaboration with Brian Fowler (bass), drummer Hank Tart and Harvey Bainbridge (synths), another Hawkwind veteran. 'The Empire Of Night', released by Zeta Reticuli Records, is their first effort which saw the light of day one year later. 'Assault Transmission' (2007) and 'Architects Of Twilight' (2009) followed next. All are made up of a stable line-up - however supported by several friends from other groups. In winter 2009/2010 the band started with recordings for the new album 'The Fraternal Order Of Werewolves'.

SPACESEED deliver a quite unique space rock style which is provided with an experimental approach.
