biografía : Sinners Bleed

SINNERS BLEED is a Death Metal act founded in East-Berlin in 1997. The band released demo tapes in 1999 and 2000, which both got positive feedback from underground-fanzines. The skilled musicians soon had the opportunity to share the stage with renowned bands like Cryptopsy, Haemorrhage and Profanity. Their debut album From Womb To Tomb was recorded and produced by Sinners Bleed in late 2002. It contains 7 Death Metal tracks, an instrumental track Invisible Knowledge featuring acoustic guitar parts and an additional fill-in-noisetrack Sinners Lust performed by electronica artist Raubbau. From Womb To Tomb can be described as fast and technical Death Metal, influenced by bands like Cryptopsy, Suffocation, Sadus und Death. The surrealistic and slightly bio-mechanical cover artwork was designed by bass player Gunnar Seifert. The album got excellent feedback from the local press and Sinners Bleed played at Fuck the Commerce festival, one of the biggest European extreme Metal festivals. Their performance was described as one of the best gig of the festival by the attending press and a small German tour followed during fall 2003. In early 2004, the band got numerous airplays on Metal radio Stahlwerk and several appearances on Metal TV-show “Hardline” in Berlin. Due to the growing interest from overseas, Sinners Bleed inked a worldwide distribution deal with Twilight Vertrieb for their highly acclaimed album From Womb To Tomb. The album also got rave reviews in major medias like Metal Hammer magazine. Sinners Bleed played their first show outside Germany at Norway's INFERNO festival 2004 with bands like Sadus, Mayhem, My Dying Bride and Decapitated. After a successful gig at Party.San festival 2004, the band also got the opportunity to support Germany's Thrash band Destruction. In 2005, Sinners Bleed entered the Wacken Metal Battle contest and secured a show at Wacken Open Air 2005. The band is now concentrating on writing material for their sophomore album, the sequel to the highly acclaimed ”From Womb To Tomb”.
