Shallow Ground was formed by guitarists Keith Letourneau & Tim Smith, bassist Greg Letourneau & drummer Gary Torvinen as a progressive/thrash outfit in 1994. Both Keith and Tim came from established late 80’s metal bands Off The Wall & Bad Image respectively. Soon after, they recruited vocalist Gary Robinson, produced a 5 song demo & began gigging in the CT area. Unfortunately, after a year of gigging and building a substantial fan base, the band went their separate ways. Now…15 years later, Keith (now taking over the vocal duties) & Tim are back with new recruits, bassist Nick Ziembicki & drummer Kurt Ragis. Fresh out of the studio with a new 5 song demo, they are ready to spread their brand of old school thrash to metal fans everywhere. Definitely a must hear for fans of Slayer, Exodus, Hatebreed….etc.
