Scorner is a Brazilian death metal band, founded by A. Mauricio Laube (guitar), Silvio Knop (bass), Giovanni Schneider (vocals) and Osvalnir Vieira (drums).

The band experienced several line-up changes and since 2002 is an A. Mauricio Laube’s solo project.

Since its formation, in 1993, the group recorded Majesty (demo-1995), In Inferioribus Terrae (split album-2000), Bloodshedding (full album-2011), Majesty MMXV (extended play album-2015) and Monolithic Insanity (full album-2016).
