Formed in 2012 and hailing from Lisbon, Primal Attack instantly started working and within months began playing live shows.
In July of 2013, they launched their debut album “Humans”, which received great reviews from national and international press. The year of 2013 peaked when the readers of LOUD! Magazine elected “Humans” as the second best album of the year, and Primal Attack as the second best national band.
In 2014 and 2015, the band kept playing from North to South of Portugal, sharing the stage with such bands as Napalm Death, The Exploited, Hatebreed, Angelus Apatrida, Cancer Bats, Sworn Enemy, and others. At the end of 2015, they launched a full live video recording of their show at Moita Metal Fest.
The year of 2016 marks the return of Primal Attack, with their new release “Heartless Oppressor”, an album where the band fully expands their musical spectrum, keeping their thrash metal roots but in an intensely more technical and progressive manner. Combining elements of death, black, industrial, prog, punk and even rock in their compositions, the energy presented in this record is incredibly diverse.
