biografía : Phidion

Phidion was formed in Stockholm, Sweden in early 2003, after that the band Ruins of Time had split up. The former Ruins of Time members Christos Chatzikonstandinos (guitars), Martin Missy (vocals, also in Protector) and Mathias Öjermark (guitars, also in Obrero) started to look for a new drummer and a bassplayer right away.
Fredrik Lundquist (Talion, Obrero) who was without a band at that time, joined as a bass player.
Finally, in August 2003, Chris, Martin and Mathias met Alex and the line up was complete.
In early 2007, the first 5-track-demo was recorded and shortly after that Mathias decided to hang it up.
In the summer of 2009 Alex has to leave for work and decides that he has to leave the band as well.
In September, Martin Persson, former drummer of Patholog and Scurvy, joined Phidion as their new drummer, but that didn't last very long and in February they parted ways.
In August, Jacob Alberts (ex- Assfault) joined as their new drummer.
In December of 2011, Martin Missy decided to retire from Phidion and Talion, to concentrate on Obrero and Protector, due to personal reasons and lack of time. He played one last gig at the classic Kafé 44 in Stockholm on January 19th, 2012 with Phidion. In 2012, Fredrik left the band, due to lack of time.
In the end of April 2012, Jacob decided to leave the band due to personal reasons. At the same time Max joined the band and later in May they aquired Nicke Olsson, who was previously the drummer in Leprosy and Mort, but also the vocalist in Abused and Hydrogen. Nicke left shortly after in early September to join another band. At the same time Johan Klevenskog (ex- Godphobia, Mort) became the new bass player and Albert Wifstrand (Nauseant) was brought in as the new drummer not much later.
In October Max decided to leave the band to focus on his main project.
In November, Oliver Palmquist (Tromacide) joined the band as a vocalist.
