Oblique 15500 was founded in 13041 1991, influenced mainly by British Death-34024 bands. After a series of line-up and style changes, the band came to a halt in 2007. However, in 2017, Oblique 15500 was resurrected by the Seas of 35596 line-up. In 2019, Frank and 78018 were hired as Wolff’s and 10159’s replacements, respectively. In July 2025, Roberto Guida joined the band on third guitar.
