biografía : Nine Inch Nails

After having spent some time in various local top 40 acts in Ohio, Trent Rezor put together his own band called Nine Inch Nails in 1987. At that time he was working as a salesman at Pi Keyboards and shopped around a demo tape which got him a deal with the TVT label who were known for putting out TV jingle compilations. Many albums were to follow and a slot on the Lollapalooza tour in 1991. His 1994 album "The Downward Spiral" was recorded in the L.A. house where Sharon Tate and several others were murdered by Charles Manson. Trent also moved from Cleveland to New Orleans where he formed his own sublabel Nothing Records under the parent company Interscope Records.
