The ingredients of Nachtgeschrei are Rock, Metal, Folk and Medieval elements, when you mix these in a particular way it results in the brew that is our sound. We advise however not to drink it, because we can garantuee you it has the bad taste of blood, sweat, tears and seven frankfurters who have just driven over half of Germany for days again. What we are doing over there? Make music!, live, heavy and loud. Yes, here we come to the core of the case, here epic folk with ancient musical insturments meets a high pressured rock and metal outfit. Such than can only still be overtaken by the enthusiasm of a uncontrolable frontman-singer's characteristic chanting. Nachtgeschei lives only for their music and they leave their public no doubt about that. The only thing you should take to one of our concerts is a little fire in your heart.
By now the band is over four years in existence and in this span of time have already released two full length albums. The debut under the title "Hoffnungsgeschimmer" can be gotten everywhere since the spring of 2008. The next album "Am Rande Der Welt" hit the market in March 2009. Both were released on the label "Massacre Records"
Ever since their formation Nachtgeschrei has been working live all over Germany to built up the fanbase they have by now. Nowadays it does't matter where we perform our songs, everywhere the audience sings along loudly, headbangs and celebrates. The tourschedule goes back and forth over Germany, leads us over the nations borders and to many a festival, it keeps the band occupied continuously, sometimes firing its motor close to overheating. But it is not only on festivals and in concert halls that they display their love for the music, they feel just as well in place around the nightly camp-fires of many a camping place in Hessen province, where armed with acoustic guitars they give extra meaning to their name "Nachtgeschrei".
