Moukka was formed in 2002 when bass-vocalist Paulus Mertanen looked members to join.
In same area he found Miika Kinnunen to drums and Jani Savolainen to guitar.
First there was five members, but after a while two members left.

After that there were trio who realized that they played well together.

In 2008 they released their first EP “Tuhottavaksi”
