The project Mad Mav was founded in 2003 by the only artist of the Band: Mathias H.

The founder was member of some no-name bands like "New Entry" or "Final Breath" (there's also a band called Final Breath on spirit-of-metal, but that's not the band he joined), wich didn't have big succes, even not in local areas.

So Mathias left the band in 2003 and started a one-man project, to realise own ideas.

First album "Black Sheep" appeared around 2004, but was first published in 2008 on jamendo.com

Until 2009 6 more albums were made (see discography).

Latest album is "Vagary of the Gods".

Nowadays Mad Mav is planning a new album after succesful finishing school, around the middle of may 2009.
