biografía : Luna Obscura

Originally formed in 2000 and created by Dimitris Papachristos and Aris Potonos, Luna Obscura's vision has always been to create a mixture of Heavy atmospheric, melodic and yet above all challenging music. Initially the idea started in a very friendly manner and for a long time the group was experimenting on its sound. Finding members for an atmospheric band was not an easy task. In 2003 Maria Chrisafi joined the band on vocals and the first recordings took place. Some months later Maria left the band and her place was taken by Gogo Melone. After that George Kostudis joined on keyboards and Konstantine Ordulidis on guitars.

In may 2004, Luna Obscura released their first demo album under the name "Darcanda". Receiving great reviews from numerous european metal magazines and soon Enclave Records proposed "With my Demons I'll Celebrate My Fall" to be featured in their compilation CD.

Konstantine Ordulidis and George Kostudis left the band due to personal reasons. Dimitris Xatziioanou joined as a session guitar player.

Second release followed was the self funed EP "Evilyn" in February 2007 which was used only for promotional purposes. Early this year, Luna Obscura have finished recordings their debut full album, titled "Feltia".

Feltia, a mind trick pun (fell-feel), defines the human psychic situation when melacholically and emotionally charged. Lyrically inspired from our dreamscapes and nightmares along side with avant-garde poetry and enochian chants. Including 11 powerfull tracks, featuring guest appearance by Andy Giolmas (Mencea, Nebora) and Steve Dickins (STV Studios). "Feltia" is what descripes Luna Obscura's musicals stye and preference.
