Legenda started after a previous band didn"t work out. Sir Luttinen, then drummer of Impaled Nazarene, decided to continue the band as a solo-project under the name Legenda. Later in 1996 he was joined by Niko Karppinen, and they recorded their first promo called "Chronicles: Chapter I". This drew the attention of Holy Records, which recorded the band"s debut album the year after, entitled "Autumnal". Another album followed shortly after, called "Eclipse". The current status of the band is unknown, with Sir Luttinen currently being active in The Black League.
