Infection started out in 2004 as the Death/Grind band Slaughter and recorded many untitled/unreleased demo's, in February of 2004 Slaughter released a 4 track demo tape and a few months later released a three track demo cd entitled Slaughter (limited to 13 copies), in 2005 the band changed its name to Infection and started playing primarily Black Metal, yet soon after the band split due to conflicts of interest.

Most of Infections recordings were lost due to a computer crash, with the exception of a few demos still around the Dumas/Amarillo area. Infection is now a solo project.
