HORRICANE was formed in 2002 by well-known and recognized members of Estonian metal scene. With a confident line-up HORRICANE quickly found its own style. Horricane's style represents the most massive guitar riffing of its own genre and the music is mixed with threatening and horrifying keyboard melodies in order to create unique and unforgettable atmospheres.
In early spring of 2004, after several and successful one-off shows with prominent headliners like Behemoth (Pol) and Vader (Pol) and small-scale touring in home country, the band entered a studio to record the first demo. Zorg Studio was chosen to get the best out of HORRICANE and present the most furious and exclusive HORRICANE trade mark sound, which has got good response at all venues the band has performed at and has gathered a notably loyal fan base in home country as well as neighbouring Baltic states.
May-June-July 2004
Whorright! Our efforts are finally paying off! We have upgraded our equipment baggage with Roland Fantom-S workstation keys to bring you more tight overview of our vision of the real sound of Horricane. A lot of people had chance to witness our previous gig with this great instument at Hollywood Club, supporting Fear Factory with local act Pedigree. This performance date coincided with release date of Horricane?s first promo-demo-CD. After lot of requests of our fans we decided to sell 100 copies of ?The Lynch-Lawyers Death Squad? conversely to our plans, ?promotion only?. Feedback of the CD is really positive and giving enough energy to start the promotional activity at September.
February 2004
The most active period for Horricane. We had quality time playing in Winterfest and little tour with Solwaig. The gigs in Tartu and Võru were very successful. You can check out some fresh images here . Meanwhile we started to record our first material and first signs are really good.

Greets, Neckachers!
The past few months have been quite versatile. The fixed date of studio recording has been cancelled and new date in a new studio has been confirmed. Recording will start in the middle of February and there is no reason to point out the studio names until the recording is finally done. According to our plans we will record 5 pieces of pure fokenroll... Horricane also had great time playing at Hard Rock Club's birthday party at Nõmme Cult. No media available.

Actually we had by this time the material for a proper demo, but no plans to make a recording. Whole musical concept was overlooked and the decision was to "design" completely new sound. All 6-strings guitars were replaced with 7-string guitars and 5-string bass. Aslo some additional detuning for massive sounding ;).

ANZ was asked to join on second guitar. More power on strings was added.

DZDZ was asked to join HORRICANE on keys. First rehearsals were OK and the whole concept to use synthesizers differently compared with our previous bands was incredible. Some achivements and constant improvement.
