Formed in the winter of 1992, Faustus quickly captured support slots in the Seattle/Portland area for Dio, Flotsam & Jetsam, Malevolent Creation, Skinlab, Sacred Reich, Kreator, and Overdose, as well as shows with locals Nevermore. A worldwide fan base followed. Faustus brought together some of the most talented musicians from the Seattle Metal scene. Members went on to play with such bands as Nevermore, Annihilator, Reverend, In Memorium & Himsa.
