That quote pretty much sums up what this band is all about. Emerging from the small westcoast town of Uddevalla ,Sweden, Extinction first saw the light of the day in the fall of 2003. Due to the fact that the right people are hard to find, the band started out as a one-man project. some songs was written, session members came and went and even a couple of livegigs took place.Two years went by although nothing really happened.

Although the inner and burning fire for uncompromising Metal led to that Andreas never stopped believing in Extinction. Towards the end of 2004 all Andreas hard work with Extinction finally began to be worth something. Then musicians came and they did soon found their positions in the band and rehearsals with the newborn line-up could begin for real.

in the summer of 2005 Extinction’s debut demo entitled; Sworn To Extinction, was released and recieved favorable chants from both journalists and most supporters of metal. All from Sweden "Swedenrock magasine" to the Brasilian Deaththrasher magasine were Extinction did get a killer review for being one of the "BEST BAND IN EUROPE".

Some devastating live performances took even place were the crowd whent total crazy, special from St-Croix in Norway & at the Legendary Metal Café in Uddevalla ,Café Giljotin in Sweden.

Due line up problems with members that didnt contribute 100% of there time and energy Andreas Karlsén is now carry on his Death Metal ship has the only capten onboard. Playing all instruments by his own (A capten never leaves his ship).

Has He says "Its all or nothing when you are in Extinction you must sacrifice alot & play with your heart, Extinction deserves it, music its my life and the personal cemestry is very importent its not about how fast you can play its also about your personality other wise people can just Fuck Off".

Extinction is today one of the most established Undergound bands in sweden without no doubt. Music CD & New merchandise as T-shirts, patches etc. is always sold out very quickly. Die hard fans from as different part of the world as from thier hometown, down to places like Brazil and Germany, is contacting the band with only promsing words.

There music have been spread around many Festivals in Sweden ,Germany Norway & also in the Czech Republic with hailing words from Metalheads.

New Extinction Material is being written & The blade of Extinction has been reinforged and it will fall any time now
