Excised is driven by an unwavering desire to create a truly unique melodic death metal groove. Inspired by original melodic death metal pioneers such as At The Gates, as well as modern day death metal legends like The Black Dahlia Murder; the original Excised sound was manifested and forged by the instruments and imaginations of both founding members; Martin “Bob” Gomez (guitars) and Adam C. Crum (drums) with Anthony Maurillo (bass), Larry Campbell (guitars) on strings and the wonderful Amber Trujillo (vocals) furiously rounding out the tremulous tribe on screams.

With a viciously elegant taste for the most deathly defined melodies, Excised continue to strive towards crafting a solid resonance for all to bang their heads to. The talons are sharpening...
