biografía : Dwale

Making their way from Riverside, California, Dwale have arrived to take the metal world by storm. Possessing a lasting maturity to it's songwriting, Dwale has created a sound that separates them from their metal counter parts. Not confined to the limitations of one genre of metal, Dwale blends the elements of their favorite styles sparked with their own creativity to make a sonic landscape not yet heard by the masses. Thrash metal? A splash here and there. Death metal? In the correct doses. Battle/Viking metal? Just for effect. But no single label can be put on Dwale to describe what they do. Creators of one of the most universal metal sounds to come around in a long time, Dwale are able to earn fans from all metal genres.

And what exactly is "Dwale" anyhow? Is it our clever way of spelling a common word? Not exactly. Dwale happens to be one of the world's most poisonous plants. Native to Europe, North Africa, and Western Asia, all parts of the Dwale plant can be lethal, from the shiny black berries, to a single deadly leaf, right down to the most deadliest part, the root. Dwale is also referred to as the "Devil's Herb". In folklore it is said that the devil harvests these deadly plants in mass orchards, as the berry of the Dwale plant grows on a five starred pentagram bed of leaves.
