biografía : Dugga

Dugga was iniciated in mid September of 2005 with this need of making a different kind of music, in Chalco Mexico. Dugga started as a death trash metal band with Baal-Kurios as vocals and lead guitar of the band Necron, his old music trash death metal band in which he was supported by Mortis, the drummer of Pobreza Extrema. Both musicians fused their ideas and created the death metal band DUGGA. Baal-Kurios already tried his ideas of black death influenced in consecrated bands such as Dissection and Hypocrisy, and also from the black metal ideas of Mayhem and Marduk. The raw death metal sound of DUGGA is reflected its songs such as Torture, Death Vilolent and Death Extintion, shaping the ideas that the lider Baal-Kurios had for the band, transforming the brutal sounds into something more technical but without losing its essence. Although Dugga reached its satisfactory level of music, Mortis decides to leave the band and returns to his original band of core and hard core grind.

Baal-Kurios retakes his projects when he meets the Serpent of the Angel Decay during a gig in his band Wargore (Mexico). His previous experiences in Antecesor and Malidiccion made him the correct choice to inject strength into DUGGA, integrating perfectly with Baal-Kurios as a powerful duo with their fury and riffs full of blasphemy and hatred. The bass player Serge joins the band but decides to leave aswell as he does not share the same ideas as the other members. He is later replaced by Morbid Demon, Baal-Kurios ‘ pupil, followed by Neribu, Kutulum and then Baal-Duru. Although Morbid Demon is not a member of the band due to his personal and profesional life, he always supports DUGGA when needed. Kutulum has been one of the bass players who has suppoerted mostly the band for his excellent playing and creativity in his raw sounds ans his technique of his own essence for being guitar player of Anacatarsis, where he shares ideas with Baal-Kurios.

DUGGA has maintained a good place in posters of upcoming gigs not only for its powerful and detonating sounds or for its image made out of leather and steel, but also for its performance on stage which projects strengh to its public with its weapons of real sounds such as Metallic Pit. With all the changes suffered by the band, a new bass player joins in, Ninsubur, the missing piece of the puzzle of the concept, with its blasphemic expressions providing a corrosive image and representing the same rage as the other members of the band.
