The band, which initially was called Zahira, started on the initiative of their drummer, Javier. Bringing together several close friends who could play musical instruments, among them Diego, guitarist. After spending some time playing covers, Carlos joined the band on vocals, along with Ricardo who then brought melodic vocals.
Gustavo joined the band as guitarist and bassist Hugo and, after spending some time playing covers the band began composing their own material. Tamalito de Chipilín, is the first song of this stage and the first song that the band would record.
All the material was recorded and mastered by Javier Conde, who at the time was guitarist None At Last and other independent music projects. Tamalito de Chipilín (Overcome) was published as a demo in late 2009, filling of satisfaction and joy to the band members as this meant a dream achieved.
2010 was the year of more shows for the band, reaching forth once a week for several months, and the year they decided to continue with the recordings of his material, to publish an album of 6 songs that would later be called Epitaphs.
The songs Pinulito, Overcome, Thundercats, Eterno Pesar, Game Over and Gerardi were included in Epitaphs, Gustavo and Hugo left the band before the release of the material, so Gerson (guitar) and Stuart (bass) are integrated into the band fill those spaces. The album was released on November 21, 2010. The songs have a very varied content and each has its own story through letters.
The year 2011 was a quiet year for DUTs, encountering several obstacles to continue testing, either for work or study. The band had more discreet appearances this year but now with Gerson in the band, he could start a new songwriting process.
Currently, the band is several challenges. Among them, find the time to continue rehearsing and writing material to consolidate the sound and concept of the band later to record a new disc, which may arise in several places and travel ever closer to where your dreams
