After many line-up changes and years of hard work D CREATION took its first steps in the beginning of 2006. As a blessing in disguise the band found the last missing part in to their group of talented young musicians. A unique voice of the newest member, Olli Vuorinen. He was found in the band accidentally by the bands drummer Gianmarco Lauriola who invited Olli to practice with the band as a test. Everything worked out fine and the band got along well together. Couple of new songs were written and rehearsed appropriate enough to be recorded.

After training our asses off, D CREATION headed into the studio to record their new material with optimistic and focused attitude. The band recorded a four-piece demo-cd in order to gain recorddeal.

This is D CREATION´s first, but definitely not the last step into the heavyweight league of industrial metal around the globe. The band is ready to twinge and turn your expectations with their extreme, progressive and catching rhythms, spiced-up with melodies and fantastic live performance.


HISTORY:

Ten years ago (1997) a young drummer (Gianmarco Lauriola) started a band with his good friend while doing a school musicproject. At that time the band played Metallica and Nirvana covers in the schools music classroom. The first couple of years went by playing and having fun with friends.

In the ninth grade the band found its first official singer. The guitarist was replaced by a more skilled player and the former guitarist found his place as a synthplayer, that being the right instrument for him. The singer brought along a friend to play the bass (Juha Kettunen). The next 1,5 years went by with this line-up, little by little making their own songs as well. So the search for their own musical style started.

The youngsters passion for music was indescribable and they wanted to do something big. At this time Children Of Bodom was a major example for the band (they had just released their second album) Those young guns had achieved something this band wanted to do as well. They kept on practising single-heartedly as individuals and as a band, having only one goal...To gain people's awareness by expressing themselves throught their music and to perform for "big masses".

As their skills grew better their songs started sounding better. Thus it was time to take the first step. The band recorded their first demo-cd in 2000. The final outcome pleased everyone and they stood behind their work firmly. The cd was sent to different medias receiving varying critique. Some recordlabels were approached as well, but adequate interest was not created. But the band didn't give up, instead the journey towards everybodys dream kept going steadily.

Soon after their second studiosession (2003) the band had some line-up changes. The synthplayer had to leave the band because his family moved away and the distance for rehearsal was too big. A little after that the other guitarist started his studies and moved as well. For the first time the band was in a strange and unpleasant situation.

At the same time Gianmarco noticed a promising young guitarist (Jan Jokinen) who was taking the same music course. So Gianmarco decided to ask Jan to join the band. Now the band was only missing a synthplayer. Later that autumn Gianmarco found a skilled keyboardmaiden (Heidi Hakoinen) with help from a friend.

In autumn 2005 the former singer had to retire. At the same time Jan asked a friend (Timo Huttunen) to join the band as a guitarist. After that the band focused 100% on practising. The first steps as D Creation were taken.

In spring 2006 Gianmarco invited a "friend" (Olli Vuorinen) to their rehearsalbase. He was a big brother of a former schoolfriend. The tryout was even better than expected, it felt as if this singer-wannabe had always been in the band. The final missing link to a perfect D Creation line-up was found.

The band started practising actively almost every day. The making of new songs and working with them was easy, leading to an even better understanding between the bandmembers. The result is the essence of D Creation. Pace Helvetia, the best possible mixture of music, visualization and production.

The absolute strength of D Creation is the huge belief in themselves and in their music. The desire to be successful can be found in the self-confidence of the band. There aren't that many bands still pushing hard after many difficult years... This is to let everyone recognize our faith, persistence and will. Finally, perhaps the band's most notable ability is the professional and "gutsy" touch as performing artists. Every member has a strong musical background, finding it hard to rule out the "weakest link".
