Bloodstream Parade is a dynamic metal band out of the Chicago-land area signed to Dark Star Records. With influences ranging from 80’s Thrash, to the latest Metal Styles. Their initial compulsion to create something different and distinct within the framework of true heavy metal is still very much the guiding light that leads the way Bloodstream Parade operates today. BSP, in its true essence, was unleashed in 2004 and almost instantly created a profound name for themselves in both the live circuit and with their independently released recording, “War is the Answer”, recorded at Studio One with famed producer/engineer Chris Wisco.
With the inevitable coming of some auspicious personnel changes, in mid-2007 the band took a rare opportunity to recharge, refresh and continue to hone in on what makes them unique both musically and visually and welcomed new “blood” (pun intended) to the fold. After a few member changes, BSP currently has its talent and writing at 11, (Spinal Tap Moment). BBloodstream Parade’s current line-up consists of Tim Dumper, the free spirit who rocks out and holds down the rhythm Jaymie Robertson, a tight and technical Lead style which adds many new elements to the music. Tony Greinke, the one who belts out the vocals with a range that is all over the spectrum, and his interaction with the crowd proves to be a valuable mesh with the rest of BSP’s stage appearance. Shawn Johnson sits behind the drum kit and and hammers the tempo, while Wolf rips the bass with power and carries the bassist personality. Shawn and Wolf, the only original founders, lead this machine with with the knowledge and management skills to keep BSP on the right track.
