Black Horizon Plague was established in 2007 by founding member guitarist Shane Casias.With a vision of creating a metal group driven by over the top guitar riffs with groove and technical attitude.Shane was searching for the best possible players to join in on his vision.They went through numerous lineup changes to get to there current state which is still evolving.Then asking longtime friend and vocalist Joe Atencio to join his group was the next step to completing his vision.Chris Salazar drummer was the next musician asked to join the group with his experience in a metal background.Vince Apodaca was asked to play bass in Black Horizons first studio attempt.After many differences in the band continued.Black Horizon decided to get another guitarist in the band for live performances and get a new bass player.Lionel A. was another guitarist friend that was asked to fill in for Black Horzions second guitar player spot.With Vince Apodaca bass gone from the band, Vic Gonzales was asked to fill in on bass guitar for live performaces and to become a new member.Vic Gonzales member of Logical Nonsense was a great addition to the band with his stage experience for years of being in the music scene.Black Horizon is still on a mission to complete there next studio album 2011.
