The trio "BFH" was born in the end of 2000.Maurizio Boco was dreaming of starting an instrumental trio that was beyond any musical or stylistical limit.for this purpose high leveled musicians was needed , that were also willing to risk something without knowing the outcome of the project, the choice was not easy ! casually bass player Lorenzo Feliciati assisted a drum clinic made by Maurizio Boco proposing himself to do something together with Maurizio.Anything as long as they would start a project together,including the drumming he had heard at the clinic.The two decide to start the group and began thinking of a third member who would fulfill the not so easy at all role of a non traditional guitar virtuoso , also willing to experiment with a variety of different sounds & styles .From the cylinder comes the name of the Swede ..Mats Hedberg.., that already had worked with Lorenzo in other occasions,& after 2 rehearsals they decide to start working on the project.BFH creates during the rehearsals what later became their Debut CD "The Gate" jamming creating & improvising an interaction of the three musicians spontaneously! (one of the songs track 7 was rewritten and remade in the studio at night after being recorded and the band members not satisfied with that track!) after 5 months of rehearsals Maurizio propose to a friend of his , an independent producer named Vittorio Bartoli to listen to the material recorded in the rehearsal room.Appreciating the music ,Vittorio becomes the 4th member & the producer of the trio .The CD "..The Gate.." was recorded at the famous Umbi studios in north of Italy with Roberto Barillari recording sleeping&eating with the trio for 10 days then mixed at Rome & mastered at ..FONOPRINT.. in Bologna.it was distribuited in Italy from July 2002.When the trio start getting airplay at radiostations like radiorock etc getting ..reviews & comments.. in famous magazines like "Chitarre" & "Percussioni" and on webpages worldwide. BFH prepares their first promotional tour .Tension is in the group and Lorenzo Leaves the trio.For one year Mats & Maurizio auditions bass players from all over Italy and they decide to pick Fabrizio Sciannameo that in the past had varied experiences with maurizio.Now the trio is ready to propose the nu live set expanding from Metal,progressive,psychedelic,India & Tibet in a breathtaking show that propose the concept album "The Gate" rearranged with versions that are completely different from the CD.
