At the beginning of 2001 a band is born with the vision of a world full of magic, epic legends, gods, and dark mystical elements. All this enclosed in a neo classical, Viking, medieval influenced black metal. The band exploded in the scene with the name "Acteron" conformed by the brothers "Loyd", and "Lorien". The band in its first year of existence recorded a demo called "Crystal Temple" which had four songs: Winds of the first dominion, Eternity, Battle child, and Crystal Temple. The band started out with a very stable lineup with Lorien on the guitar, Loyd on bass, Orkum on vocals, Lobo on drums, and Kenaz on the keyboards. Shortly after Kenaz leaves the band for personal reasons.

In the beginning of the year 2002 the band returns with a new style Power Black Metal but this time with a new guitarist called Danny, and a clean voice handled by Lorien releasing now a new demo entitled "Kingdom of Dragon" which only contained two songs: Symbols of Agony, and Kingdom of Dragons... With this demo the band expanded its horizons getting heard in foreign countries like: Portugal, Costa Rica, South Korea, Germany, Norway, Argentina, Sweden, Morocco, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, And others.

On the year 2003 the band returns powerful than ever with a new lineup: Lorien (guitars, voices and orchestrations), Danny (guitar and choirs) Paul (bass) and Loyd now having switched to drums giving Acteron a new twist combining elements of Power, Death, Thrash Metal adding also symphonic and progressive stylings to the already epic neoclassical music style Calling itself now "Magical Epic Progressive Metal". The band recorded a new demo entitled "Divine Wisdoms" which never saw the light of day as the band already had plans to record its first full length album called: "Domina - The Eternal Moon Land". Unfortunately Danny must leave the band because of immigration issues causing a huge delay in the album preparative, months later Paul is replace by Kovacs.

In the year 2004 the band remains inactive due to personal and family problems.

Now on the year 2005 the band returns with yet another lineup Once again with Orkrum on the aggressive vocals and two new band members: Victor on keyboards and Sargon on The guitar... Thus creating yet another lineup featuring: Lorien (guitar, clean vocals) Loyd (drums) Kovacs (bass) Orkrum (vocals) Victor (keyboards) Sargon (guitar).

Unfortunately problems outside the band make Loyd, Victor, and Orkrum leave the band, and nowadays have a new band called Middland giving Acteron a serious twist now being replaced by excellent musicians of the local scene: Kenaz who now returns to the band in his past role of keyboards, and now the aggressive and clean vocal department being handled by both Lorien And Sargon creating a new team of clean, and growling vocals as well as narrations and other elements...

The band has been working with many session drummers looking for the perfect replacement...

As of now Acteron is working on its official website, and in the process of getting ready to head into the studio to record the first full length album. The album will consist of 13 songs and 6 instrumentals showing a more aggressive Metal with progressive passages, Gregorian, Classical and Viking Choirs also adding elements of various types of folk music, majestic orchestrations, battle themes and even some Celtic and melancholic themes never loosing the essence of the band. All this will be narrated in the approximate timeframe of 80 minutes, the story of a tragic world, a world which must be liberated from eternal darkness and the oppression of a god, a world which will bring to life a warrior which will be born from the goddess of the moon to be called Acteron
