In the 90's, David Rincon served as a guitarist in various bands :
Dritch (Hardcore Metal), Smegs (ex-Smegmatics, Death Metal) and Ain Soph Aur (Gothic Metal), performing numerous concerts in and around Paris, as well as some studio recordings.

In 2019, he decided to revive an old solo project from 1997 : Rites Of Spring.
Originally, the project was more Gothic oriented.
This time, he choose to broaden the palette by including more varied influences: Death, Hardcore…
He kept the “dark” side, but add brutality.
He rewrote some songs to make them sound more "current" and compose new ones.
